I began my career in design over 20 years ago, building a foundation in branding, UX/UI, advertising and retail across diverse industries. In 2005, I founded Godonis & Company, a boutique design firm where I led high-profile projects for agencies and clients including Hilton Worldwide, General Electric, Three Olives Vodka, NASCAR, Adventist Health Systems and Yucatán Tourism to name a few. During this time, I built and mentored multidisciplinary teams of in-house designers, developers and freelancers, delivering cutting edge award-winning campaigns, product launches, and immersive brand experiences.
In 2017, I joined PwC as Creative Director, leading global design strategy for their Products and Technology vertical consisting of over 50 digital products and 100+ accelerators. I built and scaled a creative organization of 30+ global production staff, introduced a unified brand and design system across products and marketing, and directed campaigns that shaped PwC’s digital and brand presence worldwide. I also integrated a suite of AI-driven tools to streamline production workflows and accelerate creative ideation, including a centralized creative DAM and enhanced project-management systems, driving $2.5 million in annual year-over-year savings. These efficiencies enabled the team to focus on higher-value creative strategy, elevating the overall quality of our work and directly strengthening the firm’s brand equity and market position.
Between 2024 and 2025, I helped refresh and roll out the firm’s new global brand identity and I was asked to lead the firm’s Industries, Clients and Markets vertical, the largest and most important vertical that exists between the “Big Four” financial advisories. I worked with clients like F1, Bristol Myers Squibb, Constellation Brands, Adventist Health, bmc, Salesforce, twilio, workday and many more.
I am obsessed with systems, passionate about guiding and mentoring creative teams, translating complex business goals into compelling visual narratives, and delivering design solutions that resonate on a global scale. I also integrate advanced AI tools—including Firefly/Sensei, Midjourney, DALL·E, Gemini, and Nano Banana (to name a few)—to accelerate ideation, enhance efficiency, and elevate creative quality.
Leadership is not about being in charge. It’s about taking care of those in your charge. I don’t command attention; I earn trust. I don’t need the spotlight; I take responsibility, especially when things go wrong, and I lead by example. The people I work with don’t feel managed; they are supported. I stay calm under pressure, make decisions without needing validation, elevate others without making it about me, admit when I’m wrong quickly, and take action before being asked. Leadership isn’t loud; it’s about who steps up when things fall apart. I don’t wait for permission; I move with conviction because being a leader is who I am, not what I’m trying to do.
